Micke Grove

Spring time in Central California is always beautiful, with all the orchards in full bloom and the birds chirping…It’s the perfect time to be out doors! Be sure to check out Micke Grove in Lodi! It’s a small zoo, but features birds, monkeys and much more!. WIthin the same property you will find a Japanese Tea Garden. 

According to the parks website, the zoo was a gift to the people of San Joaquin County. The gift came from a few local philanthropists, William and Julia Harrison Micke. This beautiful park opened in 1938 and has thrived and flourished throughout the news. 

In addition, to the Tea Garden and Zoo, Micke Grove is home to Fun Town Amusement park!
